Holocaust was specifically about killing people.

@AnonymousJSS true .-.
But it isn't local to the U.S.

With the motive of killing people, some number near 6 million died. With the intention of just enslaving, the abuse and murder and ill treatment is about 6 million .-.

With still over 10 million more slaves left :v
It left a deeper scar and penetrates the Americas more

@SW-User Although slavery was HORRIBLE, it specified on forced labor. Meanwhile.... the holocaust was aimed at just executing people who were “inferior” and ruining things at the time. Forced labor Vs. death. In my book: death is worse.

@AnonymousJSS of course.... so, you are saying the number of lives lost is what makes it worse? ._.

Both are a tragedy, obviously. But did you know they have about the same death toll with slavery being potentially more?

@SW-User I’m talking about the intention of it. The deaths also make it terrible.

Yes I’m aware, although it only took 4 years for an estimated 6 million Jews to die.

@AnonymousJSS the intentions are totally incomparable. One was way worst. All I am saying is that one was practically global and packed an equal punch. The holocaust caused as much damage as savery but somehow, intentions factor in .-.
And time is taken out. And lingering systemic effects, too

@SW-User It really does. Meanwhile slavery was forced labor, the holocaust was intentional genocide. Not every slave was killed, and even though some were... slavery didn’t become a thing to intentionally kill people.

Really.
