Is it okay to use shortcuts if it works as good as the conventional method?

Call me lazy but I end up using shortcuts very often and it does work for me, but I have observed that some people make you feel really guilty about it, and that makes me feel so conflicted lol

Last I check that's just being efficient. If you can do something just as effectively with less work/less time...why not?!

@5thApprentice Well sometimes shortcuts work 90% of the time but when they don't it's catastrophic while the long way might only cause slight hiccup if done improperly. So there's that.

@MethDozer That too and for some things there are no shortcuts (or better not using any).
