What can I do to make my scholarship application look more appealing?

Hey guys, hope yall had a really good day ahead. I'm kind of stuck right now cuz the situation im in made me feeling really tense.

I will be applying for scholaship at a local university here in my country next year, im looking at science-related courses.

I will be turning 23 next year. In case u didnt read my last post I graduated from a vocational school in retail school and i have developed an interest in the medical field over the years.

I will talk about my age in order and what I had done over the yrs:
17years old- started 1st year of vocational school (1yr course in Retail)

18yrs old-i was out working and didnt go to school

19yrs old-back to vocational sch again 2yrs course in (Retail Merchandising)

21yrs old-graduated in May 2017 and only work in part time job

22yrs old- Took my A levels and quit my Full time job after 6months

I have worked as a florist, security and clothing store.

Right now I'm way more concern about my interview than my A Levels grade because what do you think i should say to the interviewer? I think they will ask me more questions.

"Oh im from vocational school and went to work in retail" the thing is that the gap is rly huge and it is a huge jump so i am worried about this part.

And also i volunteered at a local clinic, hospitals and took part in any event in a nearby community center and also competitions so that will give me some advantage.

Ofc working in Retail u have to be very vocal, customer oriented and be able to deal with customers from all walks of life.

The country i came from tend to work in a fast paced environment and so for retail, f&b operates like a 8,9-12hour shifts. And another thing about working as a full time retailer i dont think will ever have the time to study by the time i get home. And also i have worked in a 5days a week retail store before and u wouldnt believe how ridiculous its break schedule is and also i feel like im overworked from 11am-11pm/12am each day. But if u get a retail job that works less hours they will usually have an unfair system like making u work 7-8-9days straight and even on festive season i had to work 12-14days straight so overall i cant keep up with it and it is tiring and i cannot find a job in another field at all becuz i only got a Retail certificate(from vocational sch). So chances are I cant find a job as a receptionist, customer service, office job in general.

I'm very embarrassed to talk about this topic to anyone in person becuz i feel my aiming is too high and theres no one i can relate to.

And also the country here they separate the "elite and the normal people". The people here can be very narrow-minded, and also talking about scholarship isnt the "most talk about topic"and something not very normal to talk about and they will usually mock the idea. People here have a minset of "staying safe in their comfort zone" and pick courses according to what they like, preference, money or their parents or frens opinion. I feel like they didnt take time to actually think thru about it.

Being on this journey made me learn a lot of things. You actually know how it feels like to be on all sides not just at the bottom and also going to same school as the elite taking the same exams.

Ive talked to all of them before and definitely mindset and upbringing are diff like they never have taken the public transport(cuz they hav their own driver to drive em ard), usually stays at home, travel frequent, their mom and dad drive em to sch and after sch ended and the ones i talked to doesnt seem motivated to work hard though her dad has a business and can send her to sch and can pick her up anytime if she's out with her frens.

I know a girl from vococational school she stopped her education at the age 18 and she went out to work for 3-4yrs in a commission-based job and later on started her own eyelash business after she turned 21 and she got married just last yr.
