why is it so hard to love yourself?

i mean why people always has to rely on other to feel happy?

Idk I know why someone may not like themselves though. If they are always told they are worthless, and a disgrace, and have certain disabilities and people always point that out to them as one of the reasons why they are unacceptable. And are constantly reminded of this and made fun of, and even punished for it. Then a course you wouldn't like yourself very much either
