Is it anorexia?

My friend always says that she had a bad digestive system. And that she always need laxative of that sort. She is way too slim. I think she has anorexia.

Laxative abuse is a huge giveaway for an eating disorder. If she refuses to get help, have her 5150'd. She might hate you for a while, but at least she wont be dead.
Im not sure if she is abusing laxative tho, she eats but not normal like she likes chips. Anything savory. @Moosepantspatty

@Stitchesandburns obsession with salts is another give away
Give away of what?@Moosepantspatty

@Stitchesandburns an eating disorder. Malnutrition results in wonky body chemistry, so they tend to be big fans of salty foods with minimal caloric impact, like chips.
Oh man, so my suspicions are correct yeah? Its weird how she would cook food and will just atste it nf give it all to me.literally. @Moosepantspatty

@Stitchesandburns yup, they ofte, have a preoccupation with cooking, but rarely eat it themselves
I dont know if i should be worried or just ignored. @Moosepantspatty

@Stitchesandburns worried. As a direct result (barring suicide and other side effects of mental illness), anorexia has the highest mortality rate of any mental illness. Your friend needs serious help.
Yeah you’re right. But what do i do? Should i make her see lily collins movie “to the bone” just to make her feel
Like i k ow what shes doing or been going through? @Moosepantspatty

@Stitchesandburns bag of bones would probably cut it. Just research, tell her that you know as kindly as possible, and that your worried about her. If she doesnt get help, speak to her parents.

Do not tell her to "just eat", she will get very angry. And remember that she will do whatever she can to convince you otherwise.
Thats what im aftaid of, she’ll get mad and pissed. Well actually she even inteoduce me to her kind of food ya know.i dnt know. @Moosepantspatty

@Stitchesandburns its important for her sense of self not to acknowledge that she has a problem, if she admits it, her self esteem will tank, so shell do whatever she can to deny it.
And i think its really that bad. If you could only see her pantry. With the stuff she have and still not gaining weight, we go shopping together and man. Its luke you’re indulging a kiddo for food. @Moosepantspatty
