Why is it that when you let someone in ....share personnel things. Do they disappear?

I guess you are all correct....just hurts. Seemed like everything was going well..we both shared about our lives and then he just disappeared.

They don't know how to treat someone with problems and/or illnesses and some people just see it as unwanted baggage piled onto them. It's just sad.

I don't know if they have good intentions and then get in over their head. It could be selfishness on their part or fear of being too involved.

I am sorry that has been your experience. There are people out there that will not disappear and will be your friend. Be patient when itbismtime they will arrive. You have to be ready to receive them.

Some people can't handle the truth

that's happened several times to me....it used to bother me, but now i just figure it's their loss...I don't stop sharing personal things with people....
