You should probably see a doctor about this. It sounds like you might have OCD

I don't have the urge to retouch something, but do have the conversations with my brain. I tend to give the part I'm talking to a separate personality. If there is something I can't understand, I think the question and then get the first solution that comes to mind. Then I will think a bit and ask extra questions to clarify, like "yes, but what about this or what if that". Then I let my mind sort through those things and come up with something else. Eventually, I have walked down enough paths that I know the answer. This of course, is only for things that can actually be figured out using logic. I can't find answers to facts about topics I've never even read about. I'm a thinker, not a magician.

I don't know about the other stuff but I do, from time to time, touch something with both hands or legs. It's a habit that I've been slowly getting of. The only way you can please God is to receive His son, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He wishes that none of us be lost but come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Sounds like you might have a moderate case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I would suggest that if you are bothered by these obsessions and compulsions, seek help. There are ways you can be taught to manage things so they're not as disruptive to you or others.

Thank you for responses , the weirdest thing also is that it has never really bothered my social life or it doesn't necessarily uncomfort me . It's just a part of my everyday life . But at times I do get weirded out when it gets extreme like chasing a stranger down just to brush against their arm again

OCD. Almost definitely. It's treatable.
