Any Trumpet players out there?! HMU

I've been playing trumpet since fourth grade. I'm in the marching band, I was in jazz band, pit orchestra and a WGI winds group at my school. I'm average, probably a little better than a few students my age but could work on my range and am looking into drum corps. My first love was music and my dream profession would be a music educator. But they make nothing. While money isn't everything, it would be nice to be able to safely support myself. I'm also not sure if I'm "good enough" for college entry auditions. Tips??
