Should I attempt to contact an old EP friend?

I kept his number in my contacts, mostly because I'm always too lazy to take out old numbers. (It's true, I still have some of my friends and family's old numbers next to their new numbers.) I'm not even sure if it's his number still. Should I just check? And if it's still his number, would he think it's weird I kept his number?

We kind of left off on a bad note. Well...not really a bad note. Just awkward I guess. Should I go for it or leave him be?

@kayoshin lol but we never lasted on EP that long. I'm pretty sure it had only been two days of chatting on ep and then he gave me his number. Ep ended long after our very last convo through text...
