how do i get freed from our primal instincts?

ugh!!! i really do not like most of'em... especially our instinct to be romantically involved. it is stupid and it kinda makes me feel less of my self, thinking that nature has got more control of me more than i have of myself. i also do not like being confronted by a situation where i end up loathing a person or something no matter how much i try to convince myself to not feel that way. there are still much more of our primal instincts and we seem to be pretty hard wired to them.
