What do you mean by "freed"? You cannot lose the desires that are biologically programmed in your DNA. You can certainly avoid being in romantic relationships through isolation though, I have done it for years.

@Andromeda224 yeah i am well aware of that... i just wish that there is a way to not have to deal with all these... because they mostly are at war with my brain and they're pretty strong... i cannot isolate myself but i always try to suppress any sort of attraction but it's tricky and though i've been doing it all my life, i still haven't completely mastered it

@Rafa369 You would have to look into meditation, fasting and mental discipline
Rafa369 · 22-25, M
@Andromeda224 hahaha... funny because i am actually doing both... i am on the omad diet which basically is just a variation of fasting and i also do meditation, and i practice rhythmic breathing and mindfulness not just during meditations

hi Jay28
I recommend The Female Brain b y Louanne Brizendene. Is like a user manual.
Good question btw. I think testosterone is the responsible hormone.
Best wishes

Yeah, that's innate behaviour for you. You can try to suppress it, but it doesn't work very well (at least in my experience).
Rafa369 · 22-25, M
@SW-User i know... been suppressing attractions all my life and it just does not seem to make things any easier

@Rafa369 The only options then are to embrace it or isolate yourself.

"instinct to be romantically involved" is not primal instict
Rafa369 · 22-25, M
@Jentlemen well according to my book it is... but why do you say it isn't?
Jentlemen · 51-55, M
@Rafa369 Our "lizard brain" has desire to breed as one of the primal insticts.
It's not romantic
