How can you be genuinely kind if you are not?
Is it really something that can be actively changed?

I can only really state what's in my opinion but if you are not kind to begin with then that's just who you are. I understand.
I don't really know what to say to make it feel genuine but the thing that helps me when I don't know how to connect and often I don't is just to look at things from their perspective.... when I really want to understand anyways.
It may not make you "genuine" but it could help to know what their feeling. Generic advice but that's the only way I can think of to get a genuine feel.
