I got rejected by my crush but maybe i should have gotten to know him better before telling him how i felt he was flattered that i thought he was attractive but he was getting over a pet passing away which i understand so now i am just trying to move on .

I think it's always better to get to know people more beforehand, tends to just happen naturally if you click.

I know the feeling though, you'll find someone and it'll be even better when you do.

I never thought i'd find someone, I'm not with them now but as the cliche goes it happens when you're not looking or expecting it oddly enough.

@kitkat2906 That's the thing, you just meet someone and you instantly get along really well with them and you're almost magnetised to eachother, then it just happens naturally.

With mine we were both just really similar and instantly good friends, then we just became more attracted to each other the more we got to know one another. It will happen for you, we just never know when. :)
