I need advice for this situation.

I'm 33, I am lonely. In high school I didn't date anybody and I've always been a geek (I didn't want to consider myself one then though). I have OCD, I do over plan things. I picture various relationship scenarios some of which involve being with a girl in my age range. I've pictured being with a girl who was from a different clique than me but would've gotten along with me. I have obsessive tendencies however, recently I saw something about breakups on 90s TV shows and Zack and Kelly from Saved by the Bell were listed. I never watched that show and I do think Kelly is pretty. I looked the show up and read that she was the most popular girl in school. I have pictured being with a girl who was popular in high school but wouldn't have shunned me. I also read that the character Kelly was a good person most of the time. I'm trying to stop over planning situations such as the background of my future girlfriend/wife and just let it happen. I don't want to be tied down to a high school way of thinking. I however do want my future significant other to have some differences from me as long as they don't conflict with me. I have standards such as a I want a Christian woman.

So if your trying to get help for the ocd try getting a therapist and leave medication to a last resort. If you need help finding a wife then its a numbers game ask many women out it might be hard to find someone spesifically christian but you might end up finding someone with the values you want who is not christian. I am married I found my husband at work and I have never been asked out by a guy men just dont ask women out anymore i asked my husband out thats why we are married. He has social anxiety. A nother thing that might work is speed dating events they dont even have to be in your area because women are often willing to move for a relationship good guys are that hard to find. Or have your friends and family set you up. The biggest problem women run into is they dont get asked out so you would stand out. Sorry for the long response i was not sure what kind of answer you are looking for.
