5 days and 186 dollars later, my internet and phone is working again. It has been nice to have a faster service, newer phone, and more clear pictures on you tube yay!
On my 6 days phone fast tho, i was severly depressed because every friend i had counted on to help me gather funds wasnt willing to chip in..needless to say ya find out whos your real peeps in life when you're in dire straights!
I feel like i voice how i am doing pretty well, and i forgive those too petty to offer even a hug or a kleenex during my week of sorrows and tears.
Call it what ya will, but i don't care anymore about their feelings, seeing as how they TOTALLY ignored my needs.
I gave up food, money, shelter, anything i coukd to help 3 of them to get back on track..but when i needed them, TRULY NEEDED them, they disappeared!
I find it difficult to accept the fact certain people who have money do not understand the lack of it.
Let me tell you what I mean...
So friend "A" , 33 yrs old, has 2 jobs, owns a nice car, wonderfully blessed and endowed with an inheritance, brags all day long over every weekend to me how he's got anything he wants, and if i EVER NEEDED ANYTHING, do not be afraid to ask.
Friend " B" , female age 26, has 3 kids and 2 dogs, owns 4 houses, 3 vehichles, and pays a maid to cook n clean, tells me if i ever NEED ANYTHING, she woukd be RIGHT THERE for me.
Friend " C" , 43 years old, female, her grandpa dying of stage 4 cancer, has one dog, one cat, her hubby is a truck driver, and she has health issues with her heart, has a mediocre job and gets minimim wage.
Theses 3 people ive known 6 years, went to school with them , wirked with the youngest two, and we all grew up on a very low income level.
I only asked for 20 bucks from them a piece, its only 60 dollars, it was a ONE TIME request. I needed 40 bucks to turn my internet and phone on and 20 bucks for my medications since my medical coverage stopped due to me not having a doctor i can afford. Was i in the wrong to ask for help?
