@LaylaTheTallGirl brutal is good when you won't listen to reason. Otherwise it's generally bad. Unfortunately some people are blunt and don't understand the distress they cause. It can be traumatic events or even their upbringing.

@VirginMatchmaker Thats my best friend unfortunately. I do appreciate her honesty even if it hurts. She had to go off on me just like my guy friend because I don’t listen or see my screw ups and when I mess up they get brutally blunt with me and hurt my feelings.
