How do I politely tell my friend I don't want to be involved in the pyramid scheme they want me to be a part of? [I Need Advice]

They were looking out for me, but the business they want me involved in seems dubious and illogical. I don't have a job, but the way this mentorship program seems to work is you have to recruit people to get to the next level, and the more people you bring into it the more money you make, and more entrepreneurial advice they give you. I don't know what to do.

I hate scams like that... They push your friends to recruit you. You are likened to a pawn.

So tell them...
"I don't want to commit to anything right now as I am concentrating on finding steady employment providing a steady income and benefits."

I can guarantee that their "mentorship" doesn't provide benefits... so that is your "dealbreaker" as to why you can't accept their offer.

I got a presentation like that once.... I just told them "With full time school and a 48+ hour a week job, I just don't have time for anything else."
