Would this be considered cheating?

Last night I met someone that I really click with. We are both in relationships but also admitted that there's an attraction and connection between us but that we will not allow it to get in the way of our relationships. I would never cheat on my boyfriend, but I can't help but feel guilty for talking to this other guy. We don't flirt or talk sexually, I genuinely just like talking to him and he doesn't even compare to my boyfriend. We also exchanged phone numbers and are texting right now. Conversation is still very light and innocent (about basketball games, driving tests, etc). So tell me, should I stop talking to him? Again, we've established that our friendship isn't going to go anywhere else.

Intimacy is intimacy. That's why you're feeling guilt. Talk to your bf about what's ok and what isn't. having friends, even intimate ones, should be ok.

I know haha, I had to get it off my chest ASAP since some of these posts had me thinking. He was really nice about it. Told him I met someone I clicked with but that I cut off our friendship because it didn't feel right. He thanked me for telling him and told me that he trusts me. But Afterwards I addressed that we need to talk about what is and what isn't okay to do. Waiting for his response.

I know... he's the best. We met at school but we live in different states, which made it feel more innocent to acknowledge that connection with the other guy.

He's coming to see me in 10 days... but afterwards, it might be a longer period of time before I see him. SO on that note I have no idea how long we're going to last.
