Would this be considered cheating?

Last night I met someone that I really click with. We are both in relationships but also admitted that there's an attraction and connection between us but that we will not allow it to get in the way of our relationships. I would never cheat on my boyfriend, but I can't help but feel guilty for talking to this other guy. We don't flirt or talk sexually, I genuinely just like talking to him and he doesn't even compare to my boyfriend. We also exchanged phone numbers and are texting right now. Conversation is still very light and innocent (about basketball games, driving tests, etc). So tell me, should I stop talking to him? Again, we've established that our friendship isn't going to go anywhere else.
