Obama days ago called SOMEBODY ELSE (Republicans) stubborn. Will his chutzpah never cease to amaze?

Obama is the epitome of stubbornness! Prior to the election Obama said more than once that his policies were on the ballot. After he got clobbered in the election, with his party suffering historic defeats at all levels and all across the country, he talks like he suffered no repudiation and that he indeed has a mandate to get his way on things no matter what, the Constitution be damned.

There were no "historic" defeats. Look at history; this election was easily predictable. And yes, this Congress is verifiably, statistically the least productive body to sit in modern times. It's got nothing to do with the Constitution. Obama is well within his power as president - and eminently within his power as a concerned and able citizen - to take action to effect changes. I didn't hear anybody whining when GWB used more executive authority than Obama ever could in office.

He and his policies are in office because he was placed there by an election . His term is not finished. We do not have a winner take all system of goverment. You are going to have to deal with it.

His duties do not include changing laws that congress passed. Nor does he have the right to make the laws. Would feel the same way if a republican president repeals obamacare without going through congress?

Why didn't Obama give us interstate insurance competition, portability of policies across state lines, tort reform to reduce the cost of health care, and ANY kind of effort to address the doctor shortage? What good is insurance if people can't see a doctor of if they can't get in till it's too late to treat their infirmity? All he and the Democrats were interested in was creating dependency on government.
