Obama days ago called SOMEBODY ELSE (Republicans) stubborn. Will his chutzpah never cease to amaze?

Obama is the epitome of stubbornness! Prior to the election Obama said more than once that his policies were on the ballot. After he got clobbered in the election, with his party suffering historic defeats at all levels and all across the country, he talks like he suffered no repudiation and that he indeed has a mandate to get his way on things no matter what, the Constitution be damned.

He and his policies are in office because he was placed there by an election . His term is not finished. We do not have a winner take all system of goverment. You are going to have to deal with it.
It's Obama who pretends we have a winner take all form of government and that he must always get his way.

He holds office. He is performing the duties of the office until his term is over. The fact that another party won the most recent election does not change the fact that he has an obligation to lead in the direction that was chosen by his election. Period. I'm sure the right would rather it this way. What the hell else do they know how to do but obstruct anyway. Should they actually govern? They don't believe in goverment, for heaven's sake. The believe in obstruction, first and foremost and exclusively.

Me too. Be bold, Obama. The american people like strong leadership. Give it to them. And let the Republican congress present their strong alternative. Let's have this out, once and for all

Ha! I "liked" my own reply! Cause I do!

His duties do not include changing laws that congress passed. Nor does he have the right to make the laws. Would feel the same way if a republican president repeals obamacare without going through congress?
