You Won't Win
I've been down for days. Anxious, depressed, as frightened and as helpless as a young child. That's what happens when you find the love of your life while you're at your most vulnerable and then she rips your heart out.
But this morning I made the commitment to hit the gym for the first time since Monday. Was it a great session? No. I was weaker than usual. Either it was lack of focus (oh I tried!) or the fact that I did coincidentally drop some body fat recently.
But it was nice to not go through the social anxiety I feared I'd have if I drove out. I've lost strength and or focus over life changing events before. What's more important is that I was able to actually do SOMETHING to try to get back into a routine.
I can be sad all I want. I'm going to have to eventually see her again to return her keys and garage opener. But I cannot let her win.
