I can relate EXACTLY to this..been self efficient since age 15. Nobody cared, nobody confirmed, nobody comforted me. I grew up knowing if it hurts, let it hurt let it go.

@AdmiralPrune Exactly. Say you get in a situation where you get confined to your home like China during COVID. No one is coming to help you or trade goods with you.
