Hypnosis for anxiety

Has anyone had any experience with hypnosis to help them deal with their confidence issues?

I'm considering getting an appointment, but wouldn't know what to expect or recommendations.

@Snowleopard2000 I'm being open-minded about anything. Maybe I'll go through with it if I find a good hypnotist that is affordable
