Feeling so irritable

I feel like my anger is sometimes getting the best of me and I want to keep it check before I yell or get too rough with anything. I sometimes feel like breaking something or throwing something when I’m really angry. Little things seem to be making me feel irritated lately and I can feel it adding up.
For example, the coffee didn’t make correctly, which was frustrating, then my son kept putting the dog’s food in the dog’s water dish after I asked him to stop. I picked him up swiftly and sternly told him to stop, which I don’t normally do. Then I looked at the situation and thought I was being harsh and I had anger up the surface.
I had a therapist for a few years up until the 1st of this month when my insurance changed. I think this is part of the reason, but I am open to suggestions.

There's lots of stuff otc that you can take for anger, depression, anxiety, etc. Just google " natural treatment for and then your symptoms. Or you can get help with a therapist too, but personally I'd rather go the natural route myself.
My therapist says that when little things are pissing you off way out of proportion, they are acting as a sort of thermostat. Something else is upsetting you, something much worse than the little things that are setting you off. Maybe it's the fact that you just had to get rid of your therapist. Maybe it's not. I don't know.
