If people are allowed to own vicious breed dogs

shouldn't I be allowed to carry bear or pepper spray??

Vicious dogs can come in all breeds if they are not trained properly. You should be able to defend yourself if you are attacked.

@SweetMae what's the point of owning a vicious breed in the suburbs, the only reason is to essentially harm people, why should that be legal?

@SW-User I am very sorry that happened to you. No dogs should be outside of their own property unleashed. The owner was being careless. You should file a report.
