If your phone is older you'll need a micro usb otg drive not the one I sent you. More like this one.

Well, now I'm wondering if OTG would even be needed. It says it's to transfer files, but I can do that by emailing my photos to myself (photos are my only files) and then deleting them off my phone after I save them to my google drive.

True but what if you needed to move something larger than your email could handle or if you aren't near wifi? It's not for everyone, it was just a thought. ;)

That is very limiting. My last two phones have been 64gb. I think I could manage with 32gb but not 16gb that just wouldn't work.
Considering the fact that most phones need at least 2-4 GB just to operate you're correct that 16 GB is too small. Especially if you use apps. That's why most companies are making 16 GB default starting storage obsolete.

As a matter of fact, my phone three back was the 32gb Galaxy S3 so it's really been about 5 years since I had a 16 GB phone and it had a microSD slot with a 32gb chip in it.

Not so long. Does yours have expandable memory?

Hmm, some do have expandable memory, but I'm not entirely sure if yours does. I have the s7 edge and it does have expandable memory. You should check out yours, it might have.

Okay. I'll try to find out.

Hopefully it does.
Not long. 🙁

But how long?
@hiddenkitty: Maybe several weeks if you're lucky.
