Tell me your thoughts on AI

Share with me your thoughts on AI, whatever they may be—regardless of how much you know about it. I've been using lots of AI lately and I'm curious if others have done the same. If so, what did you use it for and how likely is it that you will continue using it in the future for that same purpose?

I'm pretty sure the most commonly used form of AI is used for grammar checking and finishing sentences when texting on phones or when typing emails; I don't think many people even realize it's AI because of how normal it's become. Personally, text-based adventure games are my favorite way of messing around with AI.

The continued desire for more advanced AI is dangerous. We should stop while we are ahead. An AI with the ability to control multiple devices or jump to between devices, would be so beyond our control that wishing to create something like this is suicidal in nature. If the world was a much more friendly and understanding place it might be fine. However there are so many self centered and violent people that it’s certain AI would learn a lot of dangerous behaviors.
