But does that mean you don't think it's likely that we'll colonize space or that you don't think that will be the way humanity survives into the future?

@Pikachu We will colonize space eventually, but I think we should focus on our resources here. I mean, we haven't even figured out how to turn salt water into h2o yet. The ocean has plenty of water and the sun provides an abundance of solar energy. We could build man-made islands and even underwater civilizations easily with the abundance of resources we have on earth.

I think ultimately our future will have to be off planet, but i agree that we're going to have to sort things out down here first.

@SW-User We don't need to desalinize water, in the Western world, but that's a common practice in several countries: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, etc.
But yes, our oceans have not been fully explored, but our goal should be to decelerate, when it comes to population growth.
