There are a finite number of things that could count as an elementary particle, so there are a finite number of arrangements of these particles at the most basic level. Given enough big bang-style events, you should expect not merely to see parallel universes but exact copies of universes over time.

This is one of the theoretical possibilities of the Multiverse models:
Inflationary/Bubble Universes: Rapid cosmic inflation might continue in some regions, constantly spawning new 'bubble' universes, each potentially with unique physical properties.
String Theory/Braneworlds: Our universe could be a membrane (brane) in a higher-dimensional space (the "bulk"), with other branes hosting other universes.
Many-Worlds Interpretation (MWI) (Quantum): Every quantum possibility branches off into a new, separate universe, creating countless realities where different outcomes of events occur.
Cyclic Multiverse: Universes go through endless cycles of expansion
I only believe what experimental physics can prove, but I'm a theoretical guy, so I'll just have fun with the possibilities.

The idea of a parallel universe can be confusing. It’s easier to understand it as parallel worlds or even multiple states of existence. When we say “world,” it doesn’t always mean another physical planet like Earth, but a different plane or level of existence.
In advanced yogic wisdom, there is talk of multiple planes of existence that exist alongside ours. What differentiates each of these “worlds” or planes is the elements and qualities they are made of. So rather than thinking in terms of parallel universes, it may be more accurate to think of them as different layers or states of reality existing simultaneously.

You asked this yesterday in another universe.

It’s a neat idea. I hope there is a universe where I’m happy

Yes, time doesn’t exist, there’s only now with different timelines.
That’s why we get déjà vu, it’s exists in another timeline.

No, It's just another theory. Of course there's countless other universes out there, but I don't think we have a parallel universe.
OriginalDumbMan · 36-40
@Nitedoc difference between parallel universe and other universe?
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@OriginalDumbMan As I understand it, a parallel universe is one that is almoat like ours right down to the people and things in it. Meaning a person would exit simultainiously in two or more univereses at the same time but not neccessarily doing the same thing we do at the same time. Not and exact copy so to speak.
We know countless other universes and gallaxies exist outside our own but as far as we know they are made up of vastly different planets than earth.

I believe in multi-universes.

Yes, there’s gotta be

No. Sounds like science fiction fantasy.

Sliders, a scifi series in the mid to late 90's, had that as their plot.
