I would be extremely surprised if his post description includes giving medical advice himself - rather it would include broadcasting what the medical people advice him is necessary. Very different !
@Confined Really? I find that hard to believe. He is the head of a huge international team, not a lone actor - but I do appreciate that there many who intensely dislike international organisations on principle.

That's clearly what it amounts to here.
It may be fair to say the WHO should not directly comment or criticise any government openly, as doing so could compromise its work; even though Mr. Ghebreyesus was right in what he said, and about his own country.
Someone has to say these things though, and if a UN agency can't, who can?
