Scientists in Trinidad and Tobago say they are going to send a rocket to the sun. US scientists said that’s impossible the rocket would melt.

The Trinidad and Tobago scientists said, no problem we are going to go at night. Duh!🇹🇹

An old Texas joke. NASA was giving a grant to a university and picked 3 for consideration for their proposals.
Guy from Texas Tech said we’ve built a rocket to go to the moon. NASA said ok but we’ve been there before.
Guy from University of Texas said we built a rocket to go to Mars. NASA said we’ve never been there, that’s incredible.
Guy from Texas a&m said we built a rocket to go to the sun. NASA said impossible, you’ll melt. a&m guy says nope we’re going at night.

It’s always day near the sun. It’s a nice idea but with the current level of tech the fact stands. You go farther than Mercury toward the sun every thing will melt especially if solar activity ramps up.
