I think you can choose if you want to get the implants. Like you'd choose to buy a phone or a computer.

Imagine all the people who have never had a smart phone, or computer, and how far behind everyone else is who has them. No ordering online, booking a flight, hotel, no job etc. Basically, unless you are living off the grid, your life is much harder to function in modern day society. As more people upload their brains to neuralink, it will be the same. It will be hard to function. @Scarfface

@Carissimi I don't think it'll get that way but you've got a point with being forced to keep up with tech.
I can see neurolink being good for use in medical conditions.
It might allow blind people to see and the deaf to hear etc.
