Yes! Im so glad they recovered the wii is my favorite console of all time and if it weren’t for the n64/gamecube we’d never have the og animals crossing. I can’t imagine my childhood without handhelds, mii maker or even the e-shop. I wish they’d bring more of that charm to the switch.

@AlphaEliza I agree, the Wii was a great console.

I know the original ds saved their economy too , just lets you know we should learn from them

That’s so crazy to think about because game cube was honestly so bad ass. The quality was amazing and the games were amazing

I get it though like the Xbox and ps gamer community probability didn’t hop
On that bandwagon maybe? Maybe that’s what hurt so bad? I’m not even joking I had three game cubes

And my mom and sister had their own so in total there were five 🤣

I always meant to get a Wii literally for like a handful of games that were infinitely replayable. I wonder if a preowned one would be much cop or basically just a broken pos now.

@SW-User I probably wouldn't want to buy a game console that is more than 5 years old. Who knows what it may have been through.

@SubstantialKick That's what gloves and chemicals and anti-bac and Dettol is for. It's like a ritual. 👍

Did you know that he also kills the Mushroom People that are enchanted by Koopa?

Why was wii success when GameCube wasn’t?
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@DeluxedEdition Apparently there are a bunch of reasons. One was because the GameCube's games were too "kid friendly" compared to the PS2 and the original Xbox. Another reason was a lack of third-party support, meaning that they were unable to get much help from other companies besides themselves to develop titles.

Did you know Nintendo started out as a playing card company well before computers? Talk about adaptability!
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@FeetAreFantastic Yep, I read that somewhere.
