Corporal punishment still used in schools?

I grew up in a culture where corporal punishment was used widely in schools. I now live in the UK where corporal punishment has been illegal in all schools (private and state) for years. How many countries are there where school corporal punishment is still common?

@Justmeraeagain Most states have banned it. You'd be surprised how many states (19) and private schools in more states haven't.
