Girls slippered or caned in trousers

Talking to people here it seems that my sister was in a minority when getting CP at school. She was often caned or slippered in trousers. Did this happen to anyone else?

Been there! But I am much older generation.

@MandyMitchell We were only allowed trousers in 6th form. I got slippered and caned in them quite a few times.

@Sharon Only sixth form for us as well - and only in winter. We had one elderly (she was probably about 50!) teacher who did not like girls in trousers and always made a point of being very severe with us.
