At home it was rare. At school I saw it happen often. I got my hands rulered [b]once[/b] and my mother went down and told them that if I were ever a discipline problem they were to call her, but they were not to touch me.
They called my home once, my offense ? I had asked who Adam and Eve’s children had married ? I really didn’t know.
Pop answered the phone. I heard him say,
"I see. Is she in trouble for asking, or because you had no answer ?"
They hung up on him.

@bijouxbroussard in 7th grade a Sister Juliet open hand soap me in the face. Hard too.. you know 7th and 8th grade those hormones get to hopping and you Google it bust out passing when you are in deep shit uncontrollably. My old man went to the next PTA. Only time he ever went, but went straight up to her and asked if she wanted to try that shit with him?!! Never touched me again but still made it hard. The were a lot that really played favorites and lived their little toadies, apple polishers, etc
