I Got Punished At School
I am always getting punished in school as all of my teachers hate me so are always giving me lines and detentions or sending letters home which makes mammy go mad at me!

Why do your teachers hate you? What are the lines for? Why do you get detentions?
When my kids were in school, I made sure the teachers knew, especially in winter when it gets dark so early, my kids couldn't get after school detentions. Lunch time detentions only. And they had to get it the following day as my kids came home for lunch, so if they were getting detention they would need a lunch. And no lines. If they need to be punished, they had to have something that would at least be productive. Math or English writing assignments or read book and rewrite it I their own words so they could show they had actually read and understood it. They learned from that. Lines are wasted time. I think it teaches nothing, except rebellion.
