Lucky you! I had it lots of times
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@jennypenny So did I. We were the lucky ones, weren't we? Lol :)
jennypenny · 70-79, F
No we weren't! @NankerPhelge
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@jennypenny It was better than having to do PE/games. Even going to the dentist was preferable to doing PE/games. Lol :)

@NankerPhelge I got loads of slipperings for skiving off games or "forgetting" my kit. I frequently got slippered or caned for numerous other offences too.
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@Sharon I was seldom spanked in school for other reasons apart from skiving off games or "forgetting" my kit, although the last slippering I ever had in school (40 years ago this week) was for throwing sand over another lad on the school field. I did that because he threw sand over me first, so I just gave him as much back. The games teacher saw what happened and he gave us both six smacks each with a plimsoll.

@NankerPhelge I got it for messing about in class, not doing homework on time, lateness, occasional truancy, smoking, indecency with boys, going out of bounds (with boys usually) etc. etc.
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@Sharon Indecency with boys, eh? What did you do with boys in school? I didn't know anybody in school who would have dared to do anything sexual in the school premises.
Sharon · F
@NankerPhelge Mostly hand jobs but occasional fucking. Never caught actually fucking but was caught as few time having a feel and being felt. That resulted in either the slipper or cane depending on who caught us.
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@Sharon Didn't you think it was a bit risky doing it in the school premises? Didn't the thought of being caught make you nervous?
Sharon · F
@NankerPhelge It was risky, that was part of the fun. The thought of being caught just made it more daring and exciting.
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@Sharon I couldn't have handled that, I was too cautious and introverted in those days. Lol :)
Sharon · F
@NankerPhelge My friends and I were the complete opposite. Very much extroverts. Get caught was all part of the game. ;)
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@Sharon I just couldn't live like that. If I'd been like that in school I'd have probably had a nervous breakdown before my schooldays were over.
Sharon · F
@NankerPhelge Not everyone can handle that type of environment. Schools tried to justify harsh treatment and abuse by claiming they were "building character" or, in the case of boys, "making men of them". That is why most of the historic abuse cases involve male victims. Some of us can handle it; others aren't so lucky.
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@Sharon There is never any justification for any of that sexist rubbish. I never believed in gender discrimination when I was in school any more than I believe in it now.
Sharon · F
@NankerPhelge I agree. Schools seem to be one of the last bastions of sexism. The other main ones are the police and the military.
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@Sharon I'm basically anti-those as well, although there are a few lady cops around. But why would schools want to be bastions of sexism? I wish someone would explain that.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@NankerPhelge Some (head) teachers are just power crazed. That why they make stupid, pointless rules. Sex and (albeit to a lesser extent) race discrimination are ways they can impose their "authority" on the peasant scum. Another way is by imposing school uniforms which parents must buy from school appointed suppliers at vastly inflated prices. It all goes to boost their petty egos.
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@suzie1960 I don't see how sexism boosts their egos, since it's just as bad as racism and it only makes them on the same level as that lowlife scum. Equality would have raised them to a much higher, well-respected level. Why didn't they have the logic to think of that as adults, considering I thought of it as a kid? I don't get it. 🤔
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@NankerPhelge It makes them feel big because they're imposing their rules, contrary to society's wishes. In effect, they're sticking two fingers up at society. It appeals to their limited intellect.
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@suzie1960 It makes me feel bigger to challenge them by imposing equalitarian rules on them and sticking two fingers up at their sexist trash. If they want to look big, why can't they think of that?
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@NankerPhelge Sexists don't have the intelligence to comprehend the stupidity of their position. They feel big because they're too stupid to realise society is looking down on them.

The headmaster of my children's school tried imposing unlawful sexist rules. I took great delight in watching him squirm when I issued Count Court proceedings against him (personally), the school and the local education authority (as his employer). Having to back down destroyed what little authority he did have and he left the school shortly after.
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@suzie1960 Good for you, Suzie! I still don't know how they came to have sexist views in the first place, I distinctly remember rejecting the idea when I was 12 and I never even had such views when I was younger than that.
