I Received Corporal Punishment At School

Did anyone else get their legs smacked at school? It was something that happened frequently at my girls' school. It wasn't as bad as a proper thrashing but the the teachers smacked hard and it hurt a great deal. It was also embarrassing to be walking around with red hand prints on your thighs.

Yes I got my legs smacked at school, all us boys had to wear short trousers and we got smacked for the most trivial of things. Girls also got smacked as they wore short dresses and knee socks in the 70s. It was enjoyable though when the girls got smacked and I used to stare at the red marks on their legs!!. It was good to wear long trousers at high school, but girls still got smacked until knee length skirts came in then we all got slipper

@condor We got the slipper in my junior school, it had nothing to do with skirt length or short trousers. We had our skirts lifted but the boys got it through their trousers.

@Sharon sounds a bit hard on the girls with just their nix as protection

@condor It didn't really make much difference. In sixth form we were allowed to wear trousers so I've experienced being caned and slippered through them and with just knickers for protection. To be honest, there wasn't really any difference.

Some schools had policies of only using CP with boys, now that really was unfair.

@condor Us girls would often bare marks from recent smackings on our legs
