update on upset parent

I go to the class to pick up the girls for her class this morning don't know why I wasn't told this before today, but Monday she pulled her daughter out. She sending her to a different school in our fellowship that completely separates the boys and girls into entirely separate buildings and they don't do anything together. Thats fine with me if you want to literally drive your kid 20 mins away because of coed gifted. This also explains why the mom was kind of avoiding me last night at bible study. Guess the teacher and I both are down one student because and it makes it easier we do not start new students in the middle of a term. Theres a waitlist for every grade in our school so no big deal. Thats a downside of not being a member of our church and sending your kid to our school your kids spot is not guaranteed if a family joins the church and has a kid in your kids grade they get priority and your kid might be bumped.

it sounds absurd, but then, its her right as a parent to make a bad choice.

it is i personally dont agree with separating genders in least the primary grades. Ours starts in prek. our toddler classes and 3s are coed. I also think though i understand that its crazy to make all the kids even the toddlers were uniforms. than I remember my first 2 years of teaching when uniforms were 6th grade and above explaining to nonchurch parents that even thoguh they are not in uniforms the girls still had to wear dresses

my first year of teaching i taught young toddlers which worked great for me because my youngest 2 at the time were on the younger kids schedule. half days 3 days a week. my 2nd year i taught kindergarten girls which i actually had my oldest daughter in that class.

@ReptilianFromPlanetCrush evantually all my kids will be 3rd grade and above and I will no longer teach any my own children but every year of teaching ive had least 1 my kids. my oldest 2 are now past the grades i cover. The way that schoolwork is down is a lot different after 2nd grade in our school. its mostly at that point individualized programs that varies on student and the teachers are more there if they have trouble understanding something and to keep order in the room. The teachers dont directly teach I really dont either esp 1st and 2nd grade my students are working on independent assignments and projects and a few even take classes on an online program called outschool
