I'll try to keep this short

I had a nephew ... 1st grade ... living with me because of horrible situation with his parents
He was being bullied on the bus ... by 2nd grader ... who was also left back
I told him to use any words he chooses without fear of punishment
I told him if he's touched to take the kid down by any means necessary & i would back him
I told him never get physical first

School called because he was defending himself
I told the school that i taught him that & should i come to school to explain defending oneself
They declined the lesson
Problem solved
No more getting bullied
My nephew did good after that
His self confidence rose
