She's Getting There.

Big school, first term.

Our daughter is getting a little more relaxed and into it all these days. Took a while to get to grips with the frustration of her and her musical talents.

Whilst many are getting to grips with 'Jack & Jill' she's spinning her wheels, wanting to learn some complex Steve Vai/Frank Zappa thing.

She's learning new subjects, of course, which she is finding challenging.

Understanding that everyone has different levels of comprehension and speeds of learning. That's the key.

So, a happy little girl.

She actually TEACHES guitar to students, outside of school, so as she's teaching she's learning, so she is getting her abilities stretched that way.

@KarenDuponteDurose we did that for our children's music and grandchildren's sports activities. funny thing, now that i play in 3 bands, my son, who was always playing in band concerts, marching band competitions, etc., come to some of mine.
