Chiara is at school now.

On the days when I don’t take her to school, although I can see from a phone app where her phone is, she texts me to say that she’s arrived at school safely and she texts me when she has been picked up. It is crucial that she is safe with all the criminals around who take children and especially girls. 👧

Her school starts at eight in the morning and two days a week it finishes early so she can attend after school activities. One activity she has been offered is as a missionary of sorts to the local community. It’s kind of an outreach program from the Jesuits to help students learn how to defend their faith and to support others in their community as times change and things make life harder for some.

While I do approve of and appreciate this, she does carry attack alarms and a spray bottle for defence. She also has extra activities of her own like ballet 🩰, gymnastics and piano 🎹.

@Khenpal1 We have been suffering with various governments in these Mediterranean countries to the north of the Sea allowing vast numbers of people, migrants and refugees to traverse our country without hindrance and some have remained among us as predators after our children and our social security system. As we don’t have a means to know where they are we must be vigilant. Two millennia of Roman law and protection have been overthrown in a decade!
