Do you think kids should have homework?

after spending 8 hours a day five days a week sitting in class doing work, I don't think they should. They need time to be kids too. It's important for development. Yes, a kardashian just said this and I'm agreeing and repeating here. lol.

In my opinion, small amounts of homework is good (just a bit). It teaches kids to be accountable, work hard, be responsible, and meet deadlines. And It hopefully provides an opportunity for parent(s) to help and interact with their child as they do their work. I know I'm a bit old-school about this.

@Markinator sure, but there are many ways to teach kids responsibility by involving them in other hands on activities and responsibilities. Around the house, extracurriculars, sports, etc.
