Annnnnnd, back to school anxiety just..

Seeped in.

Even for a person living 100+ like myself, it has its everlasting clutch.

I can't imagine how rough it is on teachers.

Just take a deep breath and relax. It's gonna be ok folks.

Most teachers looked forward to going back if they'd had a good summer break, if I remember correctly. When I didn't, I stopped. The anxiety came only when there was a new regime in the school which went against what you believed in and I remember waiting to see if a new headteacher was going to 'clear out' all of us established staff by putting pressure on, or if there was going to be a new and exciting collaboration with colleagues.

I always enjoyed meeting my new classes for the first time.
