Back to school emails

So many emails from the school today
One confirming their schedule
When confirming that they are bringing their lunch
When confirming what days the kids will have their counseling appointments
When confirming Sissy's and our oldest boys IEP plans
One confirming tiny tornadoes 504 plan
And I got a activities calendar
That email from the orchestra
And an email about Cub scouts

And the day's not over yet LOL

School has changed alot since I was a student.

@Barefooter25 Class of '89, I remember three full months of summer vacation, now they barely get two months.

@Ilovelily1986 @Cigarguy The kids where I currently live get out in mid june, and got back to school last week, two months.

@NativePortlander1970 many schools have summer programs that go into the middle of June my kids did not need to go to summer school this year

@Cigarguy At the one district it's literally a 12 month school program.

@NativePortlander1970 yes there are some schools in our district that go all year long but our kids are not enrolled in one of those I'm not sure if they're going to make it a statewide thing or not.

@Cigarguy It would be a bad thing, kids need their summer breaks to be kids and unwind.

@NativePortlander1970 yeah I think my kids had a great summer break spending most of it with star and Grandma they did so many things this summer zoos, aquariums, museums, picnics,baseball games, parks, swimming chilling. I'm actually kind of jealous lol
