Homeschooling my kids has been an amazing thing.

My 5 kids are in a homeschool Co op, sports, nature club, a book club, a Lego club, the YMCA, and a preforming arts club. My co op is secular and doesn't shove religion at them. They have been taught to accept people from all walks of life. They've not experienced bullying (outside of sibling rivalry that we work out as a family), they've not experienced hateful teachers. Unless we have somewhere to be they wake up when they wake up and we adjust the school schedule from there. Love our little life.

My youngest was home schooled for 2 years. My oldest had just graduated high school so she was going to her bus stop alone now early and it was still dark out most days and it kept nagging at me, there's a s*x offender living not far from the bus stop . Then one of her friends was murdered by her stepfather and she used to catch the bus with her as well and ii was thinking what if the man who murdered her friend had come to the bus stop that day? So i pulled her out. She's since graduated and is in Culinary School.

@AngelUnforgiven what were your favorite programs

@Rosie95 She actually had teachers, it was a virtual classroom type of situation , and i liked it because she had to have mandatory class time 8 to 10 hours a day. And i liked that it meant she couldn't slack off. She had a PE class twice a week they had to meet at school gym. She was in band she plays keyboard and trumpet. And they also had field trips. And everyday i had to sign off on all the assignments that she was sending in. I liked that as well. For instance if she had 5 assignments due i had to click on them one by one and sign off on it to make sure that. she was getting the work done so if it said 6 assignments are due Friday and i only see three i was able to say look where's your other 3 assignments. So i was always on top of it

@AngelUnforgiven nice. I tried a program like that with my eldest but she was in kindergarten and they wanted her on the computer for 8 hrs and I couldn't
