Should the pledge of allegiance still be done at schools?

Yes. It teaches children that they are PART of a great Republic, and a great nation. It teaches the importance of liberty, and justice. It teaches them that loyalty to their nation is important, and it teaches them that the flag is a symbol of all of the above, and should be respected.
