My girlf got a job as a substitute teacher through an agency

And although I’m happy that she’s got a job, she has a really hard time with the kids. They are pretty horrid to her all through the lessons. One girl called her fat and some others keep making comments about how she dresses.
I feel really guilty as it’s exactly what I was like to teachers when I was at school.

Substitute teachers have to put up with a lot. When my daughter was teaching, she warned her students to treat the sub with respect or pay the price when she got back. They misbehaved once and learned that "the price" was more than they wanted to pay. They were good to subs after that.
